Photographe-auteure, Odile Gine vit à Neuilly-sur-Seine. Après avoir suivi des études à la Sorbonne Nouvelle et obtenu une maîtrise en arts du spectacle, elle s'est orientée pendant quelques années vers la pédagogie de l'image et l'histoire du cinéma, et intervenait dans des ateliers scolaires, pour ensuite mettre ses compétences au service de l'écriture.
Parallèlement, elle s'initiait à la photographie en autodidacte mais très vite le désir de devenir professionnelle l'a incité à se former à l'EFET, école de photographie à Paris. Depuis 2013, ses commandes s'étendent du portrait au reportage corporate et presse. En juin 2022, elle fait partie des lauréates de la commande de la BnF et du Ministère de la culture « Radioscopie de la France […] ». En septembre, elle obtient son diplôme universitaire (DU) à Paris Cité "Arts et médiations thérapeutiques" après une année de formation, ce qui lui permet d'animer des ateliers photo à médiations thérapeutiques, notamment dans une clinique psychiatrique pour adolescents en mai 2022. Formée également en  2017 par le Réseau Diagonal en tant que photographe-intervenante, elle conçoit des ateliers de pratique et d'éducation à l'image auprès de différents publics. Son travail personnel traite des thématiques de l'intimité et des questions identitaires autant chez l'humain que chez l'animal. Ses séries, régulièrement exposées, jouent généralement sur une double lecture et invitent le lecteur à comprendre ce qui se cache derrière un portrait pour l'emmener au-delà du simple visible.

Odile Gine is a photographer and author living in Neuilly-sur-Seine. After studying at the Sorbonne Nouvelle and obtaining a master's degree in the performing arts, she turned for a few years to image education and the history of cinema, and took part in school workshops, before putting her skills to use in writing.
At the same time, she was self-taught in photography, but very quickly the desire to become a professional led her to train at the EFET, a photography school in Paris. Since 2013, her commissions range from portraits to corporate and press reports. In June 2022, she was one of the winners of the BnF and Ministry of Culture commission "Radioscopie de la France [...]". In September, she obtained her university diploma (DU) at Paris Cité "Arts and therapeutic mediation" after a year of training, which allowed her to lead therapeutic photo workshops, notably in a psychiatric clinic for adolescents in May 2022. Also trained in 2017 by the Réseau Diagonal as a photographer-intervenor, she designs workshops on image practice and education for different audiences. Her personal work deals with themes of intimacy and identity issues in both humans and animals. Her series, which are regularly exhibited, generally play on a double reading and invite the reader to understand what is hidden behind a portrait to take him/her beyond the simple visible.
